Ann Wickstrom lives in the thriving musical hotbed of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN). Her interest in music was strongly influenced by several musicians in her family. Ann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from St. Cloud State University, with a broadcasting emphasis. She minored in English, with a writing emphasis. Ann worked in radio as an announcer, program director, and copy writer for seven years. She also worked as a volunteer announcer at several non-commercial radio stations, hosting weekly programs featuring rock, blues, jazz, and a wide range of acoustic music. Ann is currently a contributing writer to Blues Access magazine, Twin Cities Blues News, and the Blues On Stage website (www.mnblues.com), which won the 1999 Keeping the Blues Alive award for achievement on the Internet, presented at the W.C. Handy Awards ceremony. She is also the Minneapolis/St. Paul "local scene" rep for tourdates.com. In addition to music, Ann has a passion for fishing and can often be found wetting a line in her favorite central Minnesota lake. ~ Ann Wickstrom
