I was born French in the early days of the 70's, grew up in the 80's and started publishing in the 90's. I traveled a lot because of my father's job, living in countries such as Saudi Arabia (where I learned English) and Indonesia. I graduated in 1989, published my first short story the same year, and then went to film school for two years.
I was a freelance writer throughout the 90's and published a reference book about TV producer Aaron Spelling in 1995. A year later, I got my first Internet account. I soon created The Icarus Encyclopedia of Fantasy and Science-Fiction (http://www.pelnet.com/icarus/) - both in French and in English - and discovered myself a new passion in HTML coding and the Web in general.
I also published two French magazines in the late 90's. Génération Scénario was about screenwriters and screenwriting, while Tempus Fugit was a Science-Fiction fanzine.
Music-wise, I bought my first records in 1986. My tastes in music are very eclectic, ranging from modern rock to pop music, blues and new wave - with a pronounced interest in progressive rock.
