By featuring artists who consistently capture wicked dance grooves within a dance/alternative/hip-hop soundscape, the Wall Of Sound label has helped introduce several of today's top club/DJ acts to the world. The 11-track compilation Wall of Sound Presents Bustin' Loose represents all of their most popular artists, with many of the tracks being long out of print and released on CD for the first time. Before signing to the Dreamworks label and scoring hits with the tracks "History Repeating" and "Bang On!," the duo Propellerheads first got their start with Wall Of Sound, who issued their early track, "Dive," back in 1995. Although a bit more basic then the material on their '98 release Decksandrumsandrockandroll, "Dive" got the band their first big break when an Adidas commercial picked it up upon release. Other highlights include the old-school meets new-school sound of Mekon's "Skool's Out (featuring Schoolly D original mix)," plus "Latinhead" by Dirty Beatniks, and the laid-back "It's Automatic" by Zoot Woman.
