This is a worldwide pioneering enterprise, an album devoted to solo vibraphone. André Juarez, a virtuoso who has been praised by Gary Burton, is committed to enhance the instrument's literature and to expand its possibilities in music, both erudite and popular. Also a composer ("Gary Burton") and arranger ("Salamanca" by César Camargo Mariano), Juarez had the energetic "Andrênito" dedicated to him by Hermeto Pascoal. The album has 22 songs, including the dedicated "André No Frevo" (Villani-Cortes), which emerges with its characteristic Brazilian frevo swing, and "Bag's" (André Christovam) is a convincing jazz blues.
