Cuban-American singer Vanessa delivers her debut album, titled Una Nueva Ilusión (A New Illusion), with a selection of songs previously popularized by well-known Latin artists and "Soy Caramelo (Tierra, Mar y Cielo)," composed by herself. Una Nueva Ilusión opens with a passionate "Si Llego a Ser Adivina," and it features a salsa version of Shakira's "Inevitable," Ednita Nazario's "Como Antes," and Millie's "De Hoy En Adelante," composed by Rudy Pérez. In addition, this eight-track record brings a bolero called "Una Nueva Ilusión," recorded along with Cuban-born singer Yanko.
