This collection from Big Eye could've eschewed the generic studio group remakes of Twain favorites ("Don't Impress Me Much" is seriously at karaoke levels) completely, and gone instead for a set of dusties tracing the contempo-country superstar's influences. The end of World's Greatest Shania Twain Tribute does that in part, including songs by Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Holly Dunn, Lynn Anderson, and Juice Newton (whose "Queen of Hearts" might as well be the template for the entirety of Come on Over). But having to sit through the remake dregs is tiresome.
