This collection of string tributes to Dido fleshes out the normal quartet lineup of viola, cello, and two violins with occasional flourishes of guitar, woodwind, and contrabass. This means "White Flag"'s chorus melody is handled by flutes, while "I'm No Angel" is much more dynamic than it might have been, with rhythmic layers of guitar and bassoon. The additions make String Quartet Tribute to Dido more satisfying than these Vitamin quickies usually are, even if "satisfying" is a relative term when used in relation to such a curious subgenre.
