One Last Thing really kicks out all the jams on Foster Portfolio, their debut album. Blending the aggressive kick of Helmet with the razor sharp melodies of Hüsker Dü, the band simply piles one catchy song over the other on this 11-track set. "Day at the Beach" lurches through a vicious riff and urgent drums to reveal a raging band, just to turn around to show a sensitive side on the catchy "Locker." It is this yin and yang that keeps the interest of the listener, showing a band who recognizes both sides of the coin without showing preference. Any fan of emo music or just solid, melodic hardcore might want to give this a chance; this album shows a band in the underground just waiting to burst out and be heard.
