There are only two things worthwhile about this split single: It's a concept record of metal-head legend Kiss doing a split with an all-female punk-pop outfit, and there are only a few hundred of these records pressed -- and on clear vinyl too. The music itself, however, is nothing special. Kiss simply re-released their classic "Detroit Rock City" for their side, while the Donnas, who normally rock out four chords Ramones-style, do a straight-up version of Kiss' "Strutter," which gets old after the first listen. The record is nothing noteworthy in terms of originality or humor, but at least record collectors and dedicated fans of both bands now have something else to collect.
