While no ten-track compilation could do justice to TLC's discography, Super Hits does not even skim the group's biggest hits. Instead, it offers a mixed bag of major singles and album cuts, like almost all other budget-priced anthologies. There are some indispensable '90s and early-2000s pop-R&B singles here, including "Red Light Special" and "Baby-Baby-Baby," but the lack of "What About Your Friends," "Creep," "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," "Unpretty," and "No Scrubs" -- to name five of several missing super hits -- makes this release close to pointless. Just about any other TLC compilation would be preferable to this one.
