Romeo and Juliet compiles music inspired by the work of William Shakespeare and featured in theatrical, film and orchestral adaptations of his plays. Drawn from productions of Hamlet, Henry V, Richard III and Much Ado About Nothing, the album collects music from such diverse composers as Miklos Rozsa, Patrick Doyle, Sir William Walton, Sergei Prokofiev, Dimitri Shostakovich and Nino Rota, as well as new music from Alex North and Cliff Eidleman.
