Wakeman visited the Isle of Man in 1987, fell in love with it and moved his family there the following year. This album of piano instrumentals is his tribute to the island, and it's excellent, full of distinctive, melodic, well-played compositions. Wakeman's love for the wildlife and scenery of the island shines through in tunes ranging from the liveliness of "The Chasms" to the delicacy of "The Ayres" to the towering romanticism of "The Dhoon." This is some of Wakeman's finest piano work ever.
