This late-'80s Roberto Roena y Su Apollo Sound effort features his most swinging (and stylish) selections to date. "El Aplauso" (composed by Jossie León) and "Trago Amargo" are the record's better promoted tunes, and "Cancion de las Canciones" and the title tune (also by León) are quite sophisticated given the salsa sag of the times. "Sigo Buscando un Amor" features the bandleader's hilarious (and purposely awful) "singing" debut; elsewhere, there are great vocals by Tito Cruz and Carlos Santos.
