As usual, the band shines with its polished, sophisticated brass writing, set against Papo Lucca's expert piano and arranging skills. "Sigo Pensando en Tí" was the heavily promoted tune (Mannix Martinez on vocals); other pluses feature the orchestra's version of Chick Corea's "Cappuccino," "Toñito Ledee" (dedicated to the talented late singer), and an homage to "A Cali," one of Colombia's top salsa cities. A real treat, and despite the romantic overtones that plagued salsa in the late '80s, it does not seem to matter.
