1998 turned out to be a banner year for Master P and his tireless No Limit army. P's label turned out hard-hitting hip-hop albums by one No Limit soldier after another, in a seemingly endless stream. On MEMORIAL DAY, Full Blooded proves to be fully up to the task of competing with the rest of No Limit's celebrated (and crowded) roster. MEMORIAL DAY is the audio equivalent of a vintage Scorcese movie, with a constant flow of uncompromisingly bleak, violent urban scenarios flitting by. Aggressive rhymes and basic, edgy arrangements are the hallmarks of "Quickest Way To Die," "Bad Dreams," "Head Busting" and the other unapologetic stories of the street presented on MEMORIAL DAY. There are guest stars aplenty, like Snoop Dogg, C-Murder and Big Ed, but all you need is Full Blooded to give you the straight scoop here.
