This eponymous E.P. (alternately known as Reign of Terror) preceded Medieval's proper full-length debut by only a few months, and actually premiered some of the album's songs in earlier, nearly demo-quality versions. Among these, "Reign of Terror" and "Hell is Full (Cruncher)" are the obvious standouts, while other numbers like "Face of Death" and "Lords of darkness" show singers Timmy and Willjious Amsbuist still searching for comfortable vocal styles (with sometimes painful results). All things considered, though, this is a decent appetizer for the meal that was to follow.
