AllMusic Review by

Lookout and Panic Button's roster of punks, punk-poppers, and misfits in 2002 and 2003 is shown off here in all its energetic, rough-hewn glory. The first 14 tracks are from current and upcoming Lookout and Panic Button releases. Some of the highlights are Bratmobile's new wave-influenced "I'm in the Band," Pretty Girls Make Graves' angular "Speakers Push the Air," the Oranges Band's driving and melodic "My Street," the Pattern's snarling "Fragile Awareness," and a couple of reassuring tracks from old-school Lookout faves the Mr. T Experience ("My Stupid Life") and the Queers ("Psycho Over You"). It makes for a solid sampler of the label, but the appeal for collectors is in the six bonus tracks at the end of the disc. The real find is a storming live version of "Timorous Me" by the incredible Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, but the rare track from the Pattern, an unreleased gem by the Oranges Band, and the last song ever recorded by the disbanded American Steel truly make this a must-have, especially at the low price it sells for.
