This set of Lang-Worth radio transcriptions does not add much to the legacy of Jimmie Lunceford. Of the 11 songs, five have indifferent vocals by the much feared Dan Grissom and several of the instrumentals (including "Annie Laurie") are remakes. There are some fine solos along the way from the likes of trumpeter Snooky Young, trombonist Trummy Young, altoist Willie Smith and tenor saxophonist Joe Thomas so the music, although far from essential, should interest swing fans.
