AllMusic Review by

Here are three more compact discs with 36 more selections of mostly mid- to late-'80s Italo disco that can also be classified as some combination of hi-NRG, Euro-dance, dance-pop, and so forth. Compiled as usual by Daniel Marschollek, who provides a major service to obsessive fans of the stuff, this seventh volume of I Love ZYX: Italo Disco Collection features Deblanc's "Monnalisa," Florence's "Trading Love," Rex Abe's "I Can Feel It," Banda Aca's "Barbarella," and Silent Circle's "Forget the Stranger." Listeners who prefer earlier Italo disco get a couple gems with Charlie's "Spacer Woman" (1983) and N.O.I.A.'s "True Love" (1984).
