AllMusic Review by

Like the other volumes in the series, Ben Liebrand's 10th Grand12-Inches contains at least a few cuts that are essential for anyone with the slightest interest in club-oriented R&B of the late '70s and early '80s. Among the must-owns here are Brass Construction's "Movin'," Coffee's "Casanova," George Benson's "Give Me the Night," and Cheryl Lynn's "Got to Be Real." Some of the series' smarter late-'80s/early-'90s choices are here as well, including Caron Wheeler's "Living in the Light [Brighton Bass Mix]" and Alexander O'Neal's "Fake." This is an unmixed compilation that consists of five discs, released in the Netherlands through a division of Sony.
