CEMA Special Markets' Glory to His Name contains ten inspirational and gospel tracks culled from Al Green's early-'80s recordings. Green's gospel records were among the best contemporary gospel of the '80s, and even if the albums themselves are strong individually, Glory to His Name is a good sampler for curious listeners on a budget. Among the highlights are "Rock of Ages," "What a Friend We Have in Jesus," "Hallelujah (I Just Want to Praise the Lord)," "How Great Thou Art," "Glory to His Name," "In the Garden" and "Trust in God."
