Like its predecessors, this volume from the Forbidden Broadway troupe skewers more than its share of sacred cows. From the Disneyfication of Broadway to the cult of Dame Judi Dench, the 27 songs on this volume manage to make fun of an amazing array of elements of New York theater, while simultaneously showing a great love (though not always respect) for some of the best things about it. Funny and irreverent, performances that mimic Ethel Merman and Elton John doing "I've Got Rhythm" or Cheryl Ladd in Annie Get Your Gun hit the mark. Other highlights include "The Full Monty," "Liza Minnelli 2001," and "Angela Lansbury."
