Tim Kerr Records hasn't released a decent record since Poison Idea left for Seattle's most notorious label; maybe Sub-Pop waved a bucket of fried chicken in front of Pig Champion's faced while he signed the dotted line. Or maybe Poison Idea wanted to disassociate themselves from a label that released blues-based bands such as Flapsdown who try to pass along as "grunge." It's sad that a band inspired by George Thorogood and ZZ-Top can be classified as "alternative" because of the record label they're on.
