Probably one of the least accurate genre titles ever conjured up, progressive trance is an oddly conservative organism. If there are any doubts, this loping, slow-beat number by Sasha & Digweed-favored Pitch Black will set things straight: predictable hi-hats, Leftfield twangs, virtually no change whatsoever after about eight minutes of cod-sexual grappling. And a flip side that has a buildup like molasses. Thirty years ago, Kraftwerk sounded far more prescient than this nondescript mush.
