AllMusic Review by

One of Germany's most prolific heavy metal bands -- often to their detriment if you ask most fans -- Rage weren't content with regularly packing between 12 and 14 tracks per LP; they also managed to whip up some more for the odd EP. 1991's Extended Power is just such a mini-release, and despite the inclusion of awesome album cut "Waiting for the Moon," only certified Rage fans need apply for membership here -- not that there's anything particularly wrong with powerful semimoshers like "Woman" and "Ashes." [Noise/Sanctuary remastered, repackaged, and reissued Rage's early catalog in 2002, adding this EP to the previous year's Reflections of a Shadow album.]
