This is the second of an EP trilogy by SQÜRL, the twisted rock & roll outfit that includes Jim Jarmusch, Carter Logan, and Shane Stoneback. Once more, it is a vinyl-only release on ATP. The set includes four new tracks -- and the inclusion of a Nick Zinner-produced remix of "Pink Dust" from EP 1 as a download in the package. The trio employs strategically broken, overloaded guitars, cassette tapes, enormous drums, electronics, loops, and, given Jarmusch's love of Neil Young, loads of feedback. Along with the three new originals is a demented, sad, blown-out -- and extremely engaging -- cover of Hank Williams' classic "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry."
