AllMusic Review by

Daryl Braithwaite's comeback solo album was a slice of carefree, summery pop that became hugely successful in Australia.

As John Farnham had done two years earlier with his Whispering Jack album, Braithwaite managed to make a record that appealed both to the fans of Sherbet and to a younger audience. Four singles were released from the album, including the Australian number one "As the Days Go By" and the Top Ten "One Summer."

With this album of pleasant, melodic pop, Daryl Braithwaite re-established himself as a true pop star.
