Country's Greatest Hits, Vol. 5: Country Crossroads is a midline-priced collection that contains ten hits from the '80s, concentrating on covers of pop and country songs from the '50s, '60s and '70s. The quality of the material is a little uneven, but it's a good bargain considering its budget price. Among the highlights are such cuts as k.d. lang's "Rose Garden," Reba McEntire's "Cathy's Clown," Mickey Gilley's "Stand By Me," Ronnie McDowell's "It's Only Make Believe," Conway Twitty's "The Rose," Joe Stampley's "If You Don't Know Me By Now" and Juice Newton's "Angel of the Morning."
