A reissue of Casa de Samba, Vol. 3 -- as all releases of the Casa series, an irregular album. The concept is forming incongruent duos with faithful proponents and artists who have nothing to say in the chosen genre. This one, dedicated to samba (which is not an easy thing), is one of the less problematic of the series, having on the good side Caetano Veloso, Zeca Pagodinho, Almir Guineto, Martinho da Vila, Fundo de Quintal, Jorge Benjor, D. Yvonne Lara, Beth Carvalho, Farofa Carioca (convincing, after Carvalho's reprehension), Miltinho, Ed Motta (in spite of his symptomatic soul ticks), Leila Pinheiro, Walter Alfaiate, Arlindo Cruz, Sombrinha, João Nogueira, Zizi Possi, Paulinho da Viola, Nelson Sargento, Chico César, Alcione, Luiz Melodia, Delcio Carvalho, and Os Originais do Samba. On the other hand, samba is not the business of Carla Visi, Sandra de Sá, Ivete Sangalo, Zélia Duncan, Terra Samba, Cássia Eller, Joanna, and Os Morenos.
