Two Larry Harlow alumni combine their first-rate talents in this excellent production by Asefra Records. Time has not dimmed these talented artists' vocal resources. In a time where mainstream salsa has turned routine and predictable, these veterans are more than welcomed. Even Harlow shows up himself in a delightful cameo appearance. Produced in New York and San Juan, Puerto Rico, the notable sidemen of both salsa worlds combine their very best musical elements, and there is swing to spare. The title tune, "Tu Nuevo Amor," "Flor de Madrugada," "Olé Gitana," and Pedro Azael's "Se Me Escapo el Momento" are the most enjoyable tunes in this outing. A gem, where experience is the winning card.
