AllMusic Review by

For the soundtrack to his inventive high-school film-noir flick, BRICK, director Rian Johnson enlisted his cousin Nathan Johnson to create an appropriately unconventional score. The music consists mostly of chiming keyboard lines ("Laura's Theme," "I'm Sorry Brendan") and percussion played on glasses and other household items by Johnson and his band, the Cinematic Underground ("Minneapolis," "The Field"). The Velvet Underground's fuzzed-out epic, "Sister Ray," rounds out this unusual collection.
