AllMusic Review by

Booty Jams is an infectious, wildly fun collection of funky, sexy urban R&B and rap, mostly dating from the '80s and early '90s. All the songs here were at least fairly popular, and they share a humorous, hedonistic outlook that makes the disc a great party album. Highlights are difficult to pick, but some of the singles present include George Clinton's "Atomic Dog," Clarence Carter's "Strokin'," the Time's "Jungle Love," Tone Loc's "Wild Thing" and "Funky Cold Medina," 2 Live Crew's "Me So Horny," Tag Team's "Whoomp! There It Is," and the 69 Boyz' "Tootsie Roll," among others.
