Merche's fifth studio album, Acordes de Mi Diario is a polished mainstream R&B, pop, and urban concoction, recorded in L.A. with producer Sebastián Krys (David Bisbal, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira) and session pros such as Dan Warner (Rihanna, Madonna, Nelly Furtado) and Pete Thomas (Elvis Costello, Suzanne Vega). As usual, Merche writes all of her own material, with arrangements by Fidel Cordero. A number one album in Spain, Acordes de Mi Diario includes the singles "Si Te Marchas," "No Puede Ser," and "No Me Das Miedo." A digital version added two bonus tracks.
